Seeking a hat-trick having won his last 2 starts over a mile and a half on the polytrack surface here. He has raced on the turf course here once before when second of four and only beaten a length and a quarter over 11.5 furlongs. That was off a mark of 71 back in July 2023 and looks to have a good chance here off 68.

7 races without a win on turf suggests caution but 4 of those have been in Class 1 company. Finished 2023 racing over hurdles at Doncaster and re-appeared over this trip when a decent third at Epsom last month runner-up in a field of 12 off a pound lower mark. Will come on for that run, has proven stamina and should be running on at the end.

A runner-up over course and distance 3 races back and sent off favourite when pulling up next time out but reported to be resenting the tongue strap and never travelling. Runner-up again over this trip at Aintree when last seen in a Class 1 and should be there or thereabouts in this Class 2.

Comes here on the back of a good win at Doncaster over half a furlong further last month and should come on for that run which was following an absence of 172 days. She makes her Lingfield turf debut but is a previous winner at Epsom which has a similar profile so this difficult track should suit. The yard are in red hot form too with 10 winners from their last 29 runners, at the time of writing.

A previous course and distance winner on the straight mile here and will be much fitter following 2 runs this season following an absence of 168 days. Third over course and distance in September 2023 when last seen here racing off a mark of 92 and beaten 2.5 lengths. Looks to have a decent chance off 90.

Interesting trying this 7 furlong trip for the first time as all 25 previous runs have been over a mile or further. He will benefit from the likely fast pace and this son of Frankel should be coming home late.

Went third close to home ove a mile at Newmarket last week, remains on the same mark but drops in grade from Class 3 to Class 4 and that combined with the drop in trip appeal.

Finished a respectable third in the Class 1 Betfair Hurdle at Newbury last year over their extended 2 miles off a mark of 133 and is now racing off 129 having lost his way of late. Raced as if something was amiss at Plumpton at the end of March when well beaten, comes here much fresher and this galloping track will suit having finished runner-up in this race last year off a mark of 132.

A beaten favourite over the extended 5 furlongs at Brighton last time out but jumped awkwardly from the stalls. Lost many lengths at the start and did extremely well to finish second beaten three quarters of a length. Should make up for that here but will need to break smarter.

Stayed on well inside the final furlong at Chelmsford when sent off favourite last time out but 5th of 14. This extra half a furlong will suit and should come on for that run following an absence of 158 days.

Won over course and distance back in October 2023 and will welcome the drop in trip after 2 runs over further, tiring close to home over a furlong and half more at Kelso last time out.

Travelled strongly for a long way at Newcastle on penultimate start and lost his right hind shoe last time out at Ayr. He will strip fitter for those 3 runs following an absence from the track of 683 days with the first time cheekpieces offering some potential improvement too.

An unexposed 4 year old with just the 5 runs and all over further. Unsuited by the slow pace at Doncaster on soft ground last month and will be suited by a stronger gallop dropping in trip.

A 14 race maiden gives cause for concern but he made his handicap debut off a mark of 71 in July 2023 when runner-up and a beaten favourite over a mile and a quarter at Newmarket in a Class 5 beaten 3 quarters of a length on good to soft ground. 2 recent runs over a mile and a quarter will see him race much fitter following a 50 day absence from the track and he has been placed twice in three attempts over this longer trip.
WIN @
Lost second inside the final 110 yards when 3rd of 12 over a mile at Musselburgh and a beaten favourite last month. Remains on the same mark and will be suited by the drop in trip.

Wears the first time tongue tie after making a respiratory noise at Cheltenham in a Class 2 last time out and drops in grade to Class 3.
